Pottery Wheel Level II

Pottery Wheel Level II is a 6-session course designed for those who already have basic pottery skills and want to deepen their knowledge and techniques. Throughout the course, you will learn to create more complex forms, focusing on symmetry and proportions.

The main project for this course is crafting a wine carafe and matching glasses. During the sessions, you will master the technique of forming cylindrical shapes, learn to pull the clay evenly, and control the thickness of the walls.

 

Special attention will be given to details—from the elegant neck of the carafe to the smooth rims of the glasses. You will also learn how to seamlessly combine different elements of your pieces and give them a polished finish.

In addition to the core techniques, you’ll explore surface decoration, glazing, and final refinement. By the end of the course, you will have your very own handcrafted wine set, perfect for use or display. The course takes place in a friendly and supportive environment, guided by an experienced instructor who will assist you at every step of the process.
