Pottery Wheel Level III

Pottery Wheel Level III is an advanced 10-session course designed for those who have mastered basic and intermediate pottery skills and are ready to elevate their craft to the next level. During this course, you’ll create a complete tea set, including a teapot, cups, and saucers.

 

You will learn advanced clay-working techniques such as crafting complex forms, working with lids and spouts, forming handles, and achieving precise shapes. Special attention will be given to maintaining accurate proportions and symmetry so that all elements of the set are harmonious and cohesive.

 

Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will learn how to create perfectly fitting components: lids that sit snugly on the teapot, elegant handles, and precisely shaped spouts for a smooth flow. We will also explore various decoration methods, from embossed patterns to glazing techniques, allowing you to design a truly unique and personalized tea set.

The final stage will involve glazing and finishing your pieces. By the end of the course, you will have a beautiful, handcrafted tea set to use at home or to gift to someone special.
